Weekend Tournament Games

We will play Saturday morning at 9am at Ruff park in Hopkinsville. This
is where we played the tournament as 7s, right across the street from
Hopkinsville Community College (734 North Drive). Please be at the park
ready to warm up at 8:15. If you are not able to play, please let me
know immediately so I can try to find a replacement player.

After our first game, we will play again at 11am, then at either 3 or
5. If we are the 2 or 3 seed after our first 2 games, we will play at
3, and again at 5 for the championship if we win. If we are the 1
seed, we will go straight to the championship at 5pm.

Practice! Field 3 is open Friday at 7:30pm…..we’ll use it if it’s
still open then. Regardless, meet at CNLL Friday night at 7pm for BP,
then a quick refresher practice in field 3.

Directions to Hopkinsville Community college:

Start out going EAST on WILSON RD toward OLD FARMERS RD. <0.1 miles
Turn LEFT onto OLD FARMERS RD. 0.8 miles
Turn RIGHT onto TN-76 E / TN-76 CONN E. Continue to follow TN-76 E. 1.8 miles
Merge onto I-24 W via the ramp on the LEFT (Crossing into
KENTUCKY). 18.0 miles
Take the US-41-AL exit- EXIT 86- toward PENNYRILE PARKWAY /FT CAMPBELL / HOPKINSVILLE. 0.4 miles
Merge onto US-41 ALT N toward HOPKINSVILLE. 8.8 miles
Merge onto EDWARD T BREATHITT PENNYRILE PKWY N toward
HENDERSON. 2.3 miles
Take the US-68 / KY-80 exit- EXIT 9- toward HOPKINSVILLE /
ELKTON. 0.3 miles
Turn LEFT onto US-68 / KY-80 / KY-80 E / E KY-80 / E US-68. 0.4 miles
Turn RIGHT onto US-41 / US-68 / KY-80 / KY-109 / E KY-80 /
KY-80 E. <0.1 miles
Turn LEFT onto US-41 / US-68 / KY-80 / KY-109 / KY-80 E / E
KY-80. Continue to follow US-68 / KY-80 / KY-109. 1.2 miles

Friday and Saturday Games

* No practice this week
* Be at Heritage Park suited up and ready to play Friday afternoon at 5:15 for a 6pm rematch vs Hoptown Hustle. I’m sure traffic will be horrendous, so allow plenty of time to get there by 5:15.
* Saturday we play our first game at 12:30, so be at Heritage Park by 11:45 Saturday morning.
* Wear CNLL blue uniforms for all games.

The Clarksville Colts Photo Album

Hey Everyone,

I have awesome news! I just installed a new online photo album program. I am out of time for today, but over the next few days I will be fixing it up a little bit and working on the design to make it look nicer… but as of now, it functions perfectly. I take quite a few pictures of the kids during the game and this program will allow me a quick and easy to way upload the pictures from my computer to the Internet. In fact, anyone can register for an account within the program and upload their own pictures as well… so if you have pictures of the kids during practices, games, etc… feel free to register and upload away! Over the next few days I will be working on it to make it look nicer… but in the mean time, feel free to check it out… there are already a few pictures in it.

Here are some photos of both teams posing in front of the huge trophy. Click the images to view it in full size. Also the full size image can be saved to a floppy or burned on to a CDR and taken to Walgreens, Walmart, etc… if you wanted to get it developed. I think you can get pretty decent 5×7s out of it.

Wow… what an awesome baseball game today! I had so much fun watching you kids today. I have a few pictures and videos to share and will be getting them published to the site very soon. For now though… I wanted to congratulate the kids and the coaches on an amazing victory! Way to go Colts! Keep up the great work!

Weekend Schedule

I have 2 games scheduled for the Colts Travel team this weekend instead
of the tournament we had planned to play:

1. Friday afternoon, 5:30 at Field 1 vs. Hoptown Angels. Be there at 5pm.

2. Sunday afternoon, 2:30, in Joelton vs Pleasant View. Directions to
be distributed soon.

These games are just for the Travel Colts, not the full practice team.
Is everyone in?

Also, I’ve attached the most recent bracket for the tournament next
weekend at Heritage Park.

March 16-18 - The Donelson Tournament

The Donelson Tournament for this weekend is off, as there were only 2
teams in it. I have a call in to 2 teams about a double header on
Sunday, March 18th. It could be at CNLL, Pegram, or Hopkinsville
(Different team).

Please keep Sunday afternoon open, and let me know if you would not be
able to play.

I wanted to let you all know that if your video isn’t up on the site yet…not to worry, it will be here soon. I am going to try to get as many videos of you guys as possible. Sometimes when I record the videos they don’t turn out very well. Either the picture is way too blurry or the video didn’t save correctly.

If you aren’t on the site yet… you will be soon! Then you can tell all your friends at school that you are famous!
